14 Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. 15 And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven. –James 5:14-15
Through the power of God’s healing touch, Ms. S has improved by leaps and bounds. A prayer offered with faith will make a sick person well, we are told, and with her faith and the wonderful therapy department at Prestonsburg Health Care Center, Ms. S is now on the road to recovery!
“Ms. S has made significant progress with her rehabilitation program here at Prestonsburg Health Care Center! It has been phenomenal to play a part in it. Upon admission to our facility, she was basically non-verbal and was dependant for all self care, including feeding herself due to having a CVA (cerebrovascular accident). She has been highly motivated to participate in speech, occupational, and physical therapy. Her most successful, meaningful gain has been her ability to communicate her wants and needs verbally and speak, using sentences, to her family. She has also gained great return in her right arm and can now use it to assist her caregivers with bathing and dressing herself. And now, remarkably, she is able to feed herself again!”
