From Prestonsburg to Boston, and all points in-between! That seems to have been the theme for us this past month and a half at Prestonsburg HealthCare. We have been blessed to have a group of elders make a trip to Boston on vacation.
A day was spent in Winchester at the Signature Senior Olympics as well as countless activities and trips around town! It seems as if this whole month was just a blur as it flew past, and during those times it’s easy to get caught up in all the excitement.
Sometimes we lose focus on what truly matters. At some point we must take a step back and refocus ourselves. The times when we allow ourselves a moment to gain some clarity, everything can begin to fall back into proper order. The Bible tells us in Psalms 46:10a “Be still and know that I am God:” We have so much that goes on in our day to day lives; occasionally we must cut through the noise and ruckus and do just that “Be still and know that I am God”.
